Section 2
What you will learn :
Open electrical template, how to change project units, from manage tab, draw wall – ceiling & floor for architecture tab on a specific level, how to deal with elevations in a template, focus on the name of the level you work on from project browser, how to change your design to 3D view, how to change your discipline from electrical to coordination and change visual style to realistic and shaded, how to manipulate Revit MEP and show windows from tile window tool, how to change the view of 3D from object wheel, how to use view cube to change the 3D view of a building.
What you will learn :
Load families concept, load doors family, load window family, edit on doors family & how modifications are done in Revit MEP, modify on a single door without changing others, full navigation wheel, using shift + MMB to orbit the project and change its view, quick access tool bar undo, close hidden windows, switch windows, practice on properties.
Section 3
What you will learn :
Draw on first level walls- make ceiling- make a floor, distribute random lights on the ceiling, distribute random switches on the ceiling, make section and see the 3D view, change the elevation of lights and switch on 3D view, how to rotate a 3D view by keyboard, change lights family & load new families, how to switch window, create similar from an object, adding ceiling & focus on elevation (place on face).
What you will learn :
Insert receptacle on lecture 4 project, Insert panel, using filters, selection of objects using window selection method- cross selection method & direct selection, change the elevation of receptacle & panel, understanding of elevation from level to the middle of receptacle, switch & panel on 3D view.

Section 4
What you will learn :
Electrical settings from MEP settings, change lighting voltage, make electrical circuits of lighting & add them to panel board, how to edit electrical circuit & add extra lights to the circuit, how to know circuits elements by pressing tab on a keyboard, how to add a switch to power circuits, how to make switch circuits, lights with different voltage will not be in same electrical circuits, light circuits will not connect to a different voltage panel board.

How to make wires for lighting circuits individually Arc-spline- chamfer, how to make wires for receptacles circuits Arc-spline- chamfer, how to make automatic wires, manipulating wire settings from the electrical panel, the concept of visibility graphic (VG) how to use it from properties or shortcut, how to hide objects from the electrical filter list.

Make a load schedule for a panel from analyze tab or by click on the panel, see load schedule table and make changes on font size- move up down- balance load, rename circuits from a plan or from the load schedule table, press on thin line to see wires more clear, activate system browser from view tab, discover electrical systems and show all elements in the circuit on plans from system browser, edit electrical circuits and see the effect on system browser.
Section 5
What you will learn :
Draw a full plan, load furniture(doors-windows-beds-seats), change project units, change family type for furniture & see the changes on a plan, how to distribute lighting by EQ dimensions on a plan, using dimensions & see the different of common units effect, change the elevation of sockets & lights, distribute light by (X-2X, Y-2Y) rule, make the electrical setting for the distribution system and change voltage of lights & power socket from properties edit type as a fast way, practice on selection & see in 3D it component, make electrical circuits for lighting, change number of circuits foe electrical panel(C.Bs), change the discipline in 3D to make it realistic, make trim from walls, use move & copy with constraints to lights, use multiple copy for lights, make a group for lights & ungroup, create similar of an object, delete an object.
What you will learn :
Make electrical circuits & edit for power, look at load schedule and rename all circuits depending on project browser, practice more on VG to get the concept of template in a clear way, create a template from current view ( graphic panel), apply template properties to current view ( graphic panel), from properties pallet - identify data – view template change template of a plan, the difference between changing template of a plan from identify data & apply template properties to the current view.

How to create new levels from an electrical template from create similar or architecture tab & add it to electrical ceiling plans or power floor, create walls & add doors - window - tables& TV, change the color of beyond lines to make it easy recognize what is in view depth, start practice on view range for floor plane & the concept of cut plan-top-bottom & view depth, practice on view range for ceiling plan & how to hide floors which will block your view for the other plans, change the elevation of cut plan & ceiling to notice the effect of that on the view.
Section 6
What you will learn :
How to create conduit in power plane, how to create conduit with different sizes & elevations, using inherit elevation & inherit size and know how to use them, how to create a slope for conduits and change to vertical according to your design, manipulate with views and design effect on 3D view & plan view using tile windows, make a change in (ES) and create a new conduit size that we can use it in design, change conduit size and its type from properties, create cable tray with different sizes & offsets, how to make connector between different cable tray with different offset & make fittings.
What you will learn :
Change type of conduit from properties, different between (wit fittings – without fittings), metallic – rigid 40/80- non metallic – EMT conduit, create new cable tray size from (ES), change cable tray type from properties and edit type to all family changes by inserting your family, how to load cable tray family (fitting) & chose it for design.
Insert junction box in the middle of conduit, insert electrical panel with specific elevation & make a dimension to it in a section, create a conduit to connect panel on top connection, select object while using 3D view will make clear view, change(move) connection point for conduit on top of the panel, make a parallel conduit for (with-without) fitting, different between (same- concentric) bend radius, show warning of concentric bend radius & apply it to (with-without) fitting conduits to see the difference.
Section 7
What you will learn :
Link architecture project to an electrical template, select link & deactivate selection from ribbon, pin link & how to move it before that, delete link & remove it from manage link, link again, room bounding, monitor levels & create new levels for floor plans & ceiling.
What you will learn :
Concept of architecture design & how to make room tags, link architecture project-pin it & room bonding concept, edit family of space & change it to room name & number to match architecture names, practice on all previous knowledge from project units to design of lighting and power socket and make circuits, generate panel schedule, design conduit for the plan, explain how wires go throw conduits for lighting from panel until switch, explain how socket wires move from panel until receptacle inside conduits.

Open multi-windows while modeling conduits, make conduit fittings, differentiate between insert & copy conduit fittings, rotate conduit fitting, draw conduit on elevation view & see the changes on 3D view.

What you will learn :
How to make a new sheet from the view tab or project browser, insert sheet size from title block folder, edit project information, change properties of the title block, edit family of title block and change text size.

How to make legends of a project from ribbon or project browser, create legend table of the project, how to use offset-copy-trim—extent-& text to make the table, modify on title block of Revit MEP
& insert legends table on it with the appropriate scale.
What you will learn :
Make a duplicate of power plan & prepare power plan & wires to print, make new home run using wire tab from the electrical panel, drag power & wires to a new sheet, make callout & generate 3D view of it, make 3D view from callout with detailed text example after lock the view, change printing scale of the callout in sheet, how to change crop view – crop region visible & their effect on a sheet, change callout template from properties to change its scale.
What you will learn :
How to make a tag for electrical circuit number, how to make sections and rename them on properties, put lighting plan on a sheet and put your own logo to all of it, how to make schedules for conduits in lighting plan, how to sort and group schedule data in a table, how to select, filter and change conduit size from a plan, putting the schedule of conduits on a new sheet, how to show total length of conduit in schedule.
